I was born in Louisville KY but raised in Lancaster PA. I went to Manheim Township then continued my education at George Mason University. After graduating I returned to Lancaster and started working at Foxchase Golf Club in Denver PA. After serving as an assistant professional for two years, I was promoted to the Head Golf Professional in 2003. I continued in that position until December 2021. I currently live in Lancaster with my wife Beth and 2 children Emmett and Paisley.

Shortly after graduating from the Turfgrass program at Penn State, I served four years as a superintendent for the Hershey Country Club. While at Hershey, a rare opportunity knocked when the First Assistant Superintendent position at Bent Creek Country Club became available! The chance to work under a highly experienced and reputable superintendent, Mr. James Loke, was just the education and training I was in search of. Fast forward five years, and I was promoted to superintendent!
